Run for Lovelane, Sunday, June 11

The Susan McDaniel Run for Lovelane, Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 11am.

Lovelane is a special needs horseback riding program in Lincoln, MA that has dramatic impact on the physical and cognitive development of children with special needs. Susan McDaniel, an athlete, actress and equestrian, was a student at Lovelane throughout her 2-year battle with cancer. Susan was also a faithful member of St. Peter’s and the daughter of Margaret Randle and Jim McDaniel and the sister of John McDaniel. Susan regularly attended Sunday School, sang in the Children’s Choir and was a regular in the Christmas Pageant. Sadly, Susan passed away when she was 10, but her memory lives on in this annual run to benefit the children with special needs who ride at Lovelane. The 5K race begins and ends on the Weston Town Green. St. Peter’s is proud to be a sponsor and we would like to see as many members participate as possible. You can register to run or walk by going to http://lovelane.org/events/run4love/. There is also a 1/2 mile kids run at 10:30. When registering, please indicate you are part of the St. Peter’s team. We are also looking for volunteers to help at the event. Volunteers will be provided with a special Team St. Peter’s T-Shirt. If you plan on running, walking or volunteering please contact Cathy Robinson at office@stpetersweston.org. If volunteering, please provide your T-shirt size.
